Teacher of EAL and International Pupil Coordinator, Nicola Selby, travelled to London last week to represent Oswestry School at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards Ceremony, held at The Law Society, Chancery Lane. Oswestry had been selected as a finalist in the International Student Experience category. The evening was an opportunity to meet with fellow finalists in the independent school sector and learn of their achievements in the last year.
We were not selected as the overall winner in our category, but we are feeling proud to have been shortlisted to the final 6 entries (the winners were selected from more than 700 nominations by an independent panel of judges). It's testimony to all the fantastic support for our international boarders within our boarding houses, in academics and in the wider co-curriculum.
