A Level results success for Oswestry School

The 2022 Oswestry School Leavers received their A Level results today, and we were thrilled with a 100% pass rate and outstanding results from our pupils.   Having never sat Public Examinations before and likewise experiencing significant disruption to their education during the course of the past two years, they have shown remarkable perseverance and resilience; their hard work and effort have deservedly been rewarded with stellar results.

Over 70% of grades were A*-B and over 45% were A*-A with four pupils achieving an impressive clean sweep of four A* grades including Janasheen Bala who progresses to study Marine Biology at the University of British Columbia , Tommy Bromage who has a place to read Chemical Engineering at Oxford University, Myra Kovalchuk who goes on to study Mathematics at UCL , and Jason Shao who goes on to study Medicine at Dundee University.

Headmaster Peter Middleton commented, "We are extremely proud of all our pupils and I want to pass on my personal congratulations to them.  They have been through so much, but persevered with good humour, dedication and a wonderful camaraderie.  Their teachers have done a brilliant job of supporting them in that journey, and they share with me in extending hearty congratulations."

We wish our pupils well as they embark on the next chapter, and look forward to keeping in touch with them.
