2nd Form Team Wins STEM Faraday Challenge

Two teams from Oswestry School’s Second Form took part in the Faraday Challenge at Ysgol Clywedog on March 14th. Organised by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Faraday Challenge gives students the chance to tackle real-world engineering problems through hands-on STEM activities.

The teams were tasked with designing, building, and presenting a concept that incorporated both an educational element and a battery component. We’re delighted to report that one of our teams won the challenge, finishing 15 points ahead of the runners-up, thanks to a strong written submission and confident responses to the judges’ questions.
