Year 4 are transported to Ancient Greece
Year 4 enjoyed a Greek day as part of their humanities topic - Ancient Greece. The pupils have been studying daily life in the ancient city states of Athens and Sparta.
They split into two teams and each tried to persuade Year 3 that life in Athens or Sparta would be the best. Year 3 voted Sparta the best city state based on their army, schooling and hobbies.
In English Year 4 have been studying Greek myths and turned them into playscripts. They acted these out in front a green screen and recorded them.
Finally, they enjoyed some wonderful Greek food - A huge thank you to our Catering Manager, Mrs Blakeley, for supplying the tasty Greek treats.
