Tom Heard completes OMM Challenge in Snowdonia

Tom Heard, Deputy Head Teacher at Oswestry School Prep, didn't spend his recent half-term holiday relaxing on a beach or exploring a new city. Instead, he embarked on a formidable adventure - the OMM (Original Mountain Marathon) challenge in Snowdonia.

The OMM is no ordinary feat; it's a gruelling two-day orienteering exercise set in the challenging terrains of the Carneddau and Glyderau ranges of Snowdonia . Participants carry all their food and camping gear, covering 45 miles over the rugged landscape. For Tom, it proved to be the most demanding challenge he's ever faced.

"It was probably the hardest thing I've ever done," reflects Tom on the intense experience. Battling the elements and pushing personal limits, he completed the course with resilience and determination.

Congratulations to Mr Heard on completing this epic challenge!
