Oswestry Performs When I Grow Up

This year's show was a mash-up on Mary Poppins and Matilda musicals, with the underlying theme of friendship (values that Bellan House hold dear).

An ensemble of 70 pupils from KS2 took to the stage as sweeps, orphans and boarding pupils, all under the terror of the Headmistress Miss Trunchball. With a little help from Mary Poppins this children overthrew the tyrant Head and installed Mary as their guardian.

There are many opportunities for those interested in drama at Oswestry School, from theatre trips to regular school productions.

Performing Arts scholarships are available to children from the age of 11 who show genuine talent and potential.
