Admissions

We aim to make our admissions process as smooth as possible for our prospective families. We understand it can be a confusing process at the different entry points, but our experienced Admissions Team are always happy to answer your questions, explain our entrance procedures or arrange a visit.

The main points of entry are at ages 4, 11, 13 and 16, but we also accept applications for other year groups provided there are places. Boarders are accepted from the age of 11.

With high demand for places at Oswestry School, parents often start enquiring about places for their children up to three years before entry. We do encourage this as we can offer early confirmation of a place depending on the year of entry. However, even if you are a late applicant it is worth giving us a call as places can become available throughout the year, or we can place your child on a waiting list.

In the first instance, we encourage you to request a prospectus and register with us by completing our Registration Form and fee as soon as you are ready; once we have this, you are then included on our list of applicants for the appropriate year and contacted accordingly for taster days and scholarships.
