Lewis and Charlie, both 1st Form pupils, have achieved top 20 in their individual swimming races at the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) swimming gala.

IAPS organises 40 qualifying galas throughout the spring term with more than 400 schools entering the competition. The top 20 children from each individual race, and top 20 relay teams, would have qualified for the finals, which would have taken place at the London Aquatics Centre in June.

Lewis placed 12th in the 50m Butterfly and Charlie came 18th in the 50m Backstroke.

“This is a tremendous achievement for both boys”, said Sofie Suckley, Assistant Director of Sport. “We’re looking forward to heading back for another swimming qualifier and the national finals in 2021".
