Members of the Friday enrichment Community Action group paid a visit to a local Oswestry care home last week, where they met with residents for a cup of tea, board games and a chat.

The residents of Fairholme were delighted to spend time with our pupils and hear about life at school. Likewise, our pupils found it hugely rewarding to chat with older members of our community, hear stories and learn from them.

It was heart-warming to see the generations together, enjoying each other's company to and hear their laughter.
