Pupils travelled to Moreton Hall to participate in a 'Mini Model United Nations'

Last week a delegation of 18 pupils travelled to Moreton Hall to participate in a 'Mini Model United Nations 2'. The theme of the conference was 'individual and collective responsibility'. Our pupils spent two weeks researching their respective countries and preparing to represent their views. On the day of the 'Mini Model United Nations 2' we sent delegations representing Brazil, Thailand and Sweden. Yuji and Pearl won commendations for their contributions to the debates. The day's final session involved debating an emergency resolution to solve a global rice shortage.

This was a massive success and by the end of an exciting day, the pupils achieved two awards and had some very well-structured debates with other pupils from schools across the Midlands and the North West.

Well done everyone!
