Eight Oswestry School entrepreneurs have raised over £300 for Severn Hospice from the proceeds of their pop-up stall in the Senior School Library last half term and at Oswestry Town youth market on Wednesday of this week.
A delightful range of handcrafted goods were on offer, from scented candles (upcycled from old church candles from St Oswald) and vegan soaps to lavender bags, colourful pom pom keyrings, fun earrings and bracelets, bits ‘n’ bobs pots and material bags. Recycle, reuse and upcycle was the theme of the day! The stall proved popular with staff at school and the public who visited The Bailey head this week - thank you to all who dropped by to support.
We are proud of our pupils who put in time and effort to make the produce and sell it to raise a fabulous amount for this local hospice.
