Lower sixth pupil, Kyle, was recently selected to officiate at RAF Cosford, for the Premier League U12 Christmas Truce Qualifiers. Participating teams were: Blackburn Rovers, Burnley, Everton, Leeds United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United & Sunderland.

Kyle told us about his experience: "It was a really good day and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some very good football was played and I was lucky enough to referee Manchester United vs Middlesbrough and Liverpool vs Burnley." Kyle added, "I also ran the line for Burnley vs Leeds, Everton vs Newcastle and Manchester United vs Blackburn Rovers."

Kyle now looks forward to attending the second of the five National FA CORE (Centre of Refereeing Excellence) training camps held across season 23/24 at St George’s Park on the 10th of December, after being one of three officials in Shropshire to be selected for the program at the start of this season.
