This week’s Headmaster’s Forte Award nominees included Wang Qi, Katherine and Daniel - all of whom achieved excellent grades in GCSE Music- and Katherine, who achieved the same in GcSe Dance. What was particularly outstanding was that they had done so two years early and studied for the exams outside of the curriculum. 

Completing the Forte gathering was a CCF quartet led by RSM Josh and ably supported by L6th formers Will, Bertie and Oliver, who received their nomination in recognition of their service to the local community in supporting the recent Civic Service at St Oswald’s church in commemoration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. They were terrific ambassadors for the school greeting guests and helping to usher members of the congregation in.

A fine bunch of Forte Award winners, all of whom are going the extra mile and acting as strong role models to others.
