Poppy (2nd)
Poppy recently achieved an individual placing in Arena Eventing at Kelsall, qualifying for the Schools National Championships at Hickstead in May. Well done Poppy!

Brodie (1st)
Brodie recently represented Oswestry School at two Regional British Schools Pistol Shooting Championships competitions. Brodie shot an impressive 171 and 173, and took the top spot at both the West Midlands / North West event and the York & North East Regional Championships. An incredible performance, showing his skill and consistency in his shooting ability. Brodie now enters the National finals, ranked 5th in the country! An astounding achievement, we wish you the very best of luck in the National finals next week.

Maisey (5th)
Maisey recently represented Oswestry School at two Regional British Schools Pistol Shooting Championships competitions. She achieved a great result - shooting 141! Well done Maisey!

Archie (2nd)
Archie has worked really hard this term with his independent reading. We looked together at some books that he might enjoy and he made a really sensible decision. Since then he has spent a lot of his free time on his reading, and has discussed books with me in a very mature, interested way. His progress is fantastic to see, and all done by him. Well done, Archie!

Rhys (1st)
Rhys developed his own implementation of 'Pac-Man' using Scratch. The resulting work is truly impressive and shows an excellent level of technical skill and engagement with the task. Rhys completed most of the work independently making his learning even more impressive.

Noah (3rd)
Noah has maintained a wonderful sense of independence and consistency when working with clay this term. His focus is constant, his ideas are fruitful and he never falters from giving his best. As you can imagine his results are testimony to his effort and obvious creative talent.

Blake (1st)
Blake worked in class and independently, at home, to produce a truly impressive Scratch game for our major programming project. He made use of several advanced features which he figured out by himself. His work is very impressive. Great perseverance, effort and success!

Grace (5th)
Grace has been extremely proactive about her own health and fitness and her desire to play netball, however, she found it challenging to join with our senior age group. She took a proactive approach by speaking to Miss Jones about how she feels and what she wants from netball, she arranged small group sessions with herself and a couple of friends to build their confidence in netball and has taken the step to observe senior training so she can understand the game more. With this mentality, she has practiced her skills further and has taken ownership of a new challenge.

Heidi (3rd)
Since the beginning of the term, Heidi has been putting in exceptional effort in Maths. Although she finds the subject challenging, she shows great resilience and is going above and beyond to improve by doing extra work on Sparx. Well done, Heidi- your hard work has not gone unnoticed, and you should be very proud of yourself!

Freddie (U6th)
For exceptional leadership as the rugby first team captain. Leading by example with a remarkable hattrick of tires and taking conversions only missing 2. Freddie inspired his teammates with skill, composure and determination, setting the standard for responsibility and teamwork both on and off the field.
