Forte Award - 29 November 2024
This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster, Mr Middleton, and Senior Deputy Head, Mr Lane. Both were delighted to be able to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...

 

Annabelle (3rd)
Congratulations on being selected to attend the next stage of ISFA. Very well deserved. Good luck in the summer camp.

 

Isla (4th)
Isla has been successful at achieving a place on the county hockey squad. Excellent achievement.

 

Edward (3rd)
Ed has flourished this half term. He has taken responsibility for comic club and seeks less support from staff. He is eager to do well and tackles all tasks with determination and resilience. 


Verity (2nd)
Success after two rounds of trials at securing a place on the county netball squad.

 

 


Brittany (L6th)
Brittany embodies the Forte value of being 'Independent'. She demonstrates academic curiosity and a high level of self-direction in her studies, particularly with her English language development.

 
 
 
 

Oliver (3rd)
Well done on working proactively with your family to produce an excellent resource that was used by the whole school to explore a new industry as part of Futures Fortnight. The video you produced was innovative and we were all impressed by your confidence in presenting to the camera. Well done Oliver.

 

 

Jasper (3rd)
An unbelievable effort in the recent cross country event. Whilst running a very difficult course, he demonstrated true resilience to keep going at all times. A great example to all sportsmen!!

Hins (L6th)
Hins demonstrates high levels of resilience and shows commendable determination to improve his language level by being a focused and reflective learner. 


Giselle (L6th)
Giselle demonstrates high levels of resilience and shows commendable determination to improve her language level by being a focused and reflective learner.

 

 


Janice (4th)
This nomination recognises Janice for her outstanding leadership as Head of Family in Guinevere House. Although she is younger than many of her peers, she has emerged as a remarkable role model within the Prefect Team. Janice exemplifies integrity, embraces her responsibilities, and takes great pride in her family. Her commitment to excellence for both herself and her family members is evident, all while maintaining a joyful and kind demeanour. A shining star in the boarding house!
