Year 2 visit to Shrewsbury Museum
Year 2 had an amazing time on their trip to Shrewsbury Museum on Wednesday, where learning came to life through a hands-on and engaging experience. The highlight of the visit was an exciting artifact hunt, where pupils explored the museum’s fascinating exhibits and uncovered clues about the past.
The children also learned all about Charles Darwin, discovering more about his life, his famous theories, and his connection to Shrewsbury. It was a fantastic opportunity to link classroom learning to real-world history in an interactive way.
Throughout the visit, the pupils were impeccably behaved, showing curiosity, enthusiasm, and respect at every turn. They were a real credit to the school—well done, Year 2!
